FINLAND

Finland is a European country that is borded by Sweden in the west, Norway to the north, Russia to the east and Estonia to the south and is a country woth visiting.

NORTHERN LIGHTS

The most amazing natural phenomenon, the Northern lights, takes place there and it's something really unique. The thrill of witnessing the Aurora Borealis is, for a lot of people, an one in lifetime experience. The dancing of those lights up in the sky will leave you amazed.

 FOODS

In Finland, you can taste anything you want nowadays, although some finnish foods like Karjalanpiirakka (pastries), Korvapuusti (the translation may be sapped ears, but in fact they are delicious cinammon buns), Mustikkapiirakka (along with other berrie-pies) are worthy your time.

DESIGN

 Another thing that you will surely love about Filand is the Finnish design that literally follows you constantly everywhere and you cannot forget it even when you're gone. The main characteristic of this country is nature, many lakes and many forests at the same time. So, the big inspiration there is nature. Finns, have found a way to co-operate in peace with it and I think that's what make their design so unique. As the famous Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto once said:

LANDSCAPES

 

Nature plays a big role in Finnish landscapes and one visit can stay in your heart forever. Places like Ytö island, the village of saramo, Kilpisjärvi etc will take your breath away

And last but not least the famous heavy metal finnish bands like Nightwish, Apocalyptica, The Rasmus and HIM are a good reason to visit this country.

Los Angeles

I did a research yesterday for the city of Los Angeles and want to share it with you. 

One of the best ways to experience Los Angeles is by visiting its incredible cultural attractions. L.A. has more museums and theaters than any U.S. city, and a thriving music and gallery scene. An LA Philharmonic performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall is a must-see, as well as an outdoor concert at the Hollywood Bowl and shows at other famous music venues.

Monthly artwalks take place throughout the city, including popular events in Downtown L.A. and Venice Beach. And of course, when it comes to film and television, Los Angeles is the entertainment capital of the world.

MUSIC

There’s nothing like a concert in Los Angeles, whether it’s a stadium show or intimate jazz session. L.A.’s world class venues include Walt Disney Concert Hall, Nokia Theatre, Dolby Theatre, the Wiltern and the Palladium. The weather is perfect for outdoor concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theatre and John Anson Ford Theatre. Smaller clubs like Conga Room and House of Blues Sunset Strip also present live music.

FASHION

When it comes to fashion, Los Angeles has always been a city ahead of the curve. Fashionistas should head straight to the Fashion District in Downtown L.A., one of the best shopping areas in the world for cutting edge fashion and bargain prices. Visit La Brea Avenue for trendy gear and vintage clothing, or stroll nearby West Third Street and its many boutiques.
